WHAT IT IS
Access Code is a blended approach to reading intervention for students in grades two and above who persistently struggle with reading comprehension and fluency because they lack automatic word recognition skills.
Access Code is available in two versions: Elementary and Secondary. Both versions use the same scope and sequence and exploit the same powerful underlying learning model, the Varied Practice Model, to develop foundational skills. However, each uses a unique system of word lists, tasks and progression rules along with teacher-facilitated activities to support and challenge learners at all grade levels.
